These past weeks have been ever so busy ones. My parents were in town so I assumed the role as designated tour guide and president of the entertainment committee. But no worries I've made time for online window shopping and blog hoping even though I haven't had much time to contribute to my own Blahg. I came across these little beauties featured recently at sfgirlbybay. I love the idea. The artist, Leslie Oschmann, picks through and scavanges antique shops, estate sales, and flee markets all over Europe in search of old and worn canvas paintings to transform and be given a new life. One with a twist. The hand bags are so very clever. So I've been spying around a little on my regular antique and thrift store visits in search of my on clever canvas ripe for the stitching. We'll see what I come up with.
See more from Leslie here.
